My greatest passion in life is to restore something to its former condition or to assist in the actualization of one's fullest potential. In session, I find that most couples have difficulty identifying granular emotions beyond "angry", "sad," "frustrated." I've learned over time that supporting folks in deepening their experience with emotions & normalizing conversations around them supports the trust and love in the relationship. Working with me will see us expanding our emotional glossaries and engaging in exercises to build new muscle memory around the communication patterns you prefer to adopt. We'll have fun and use humor along the way!

Born and raised in Chicago, I am a first generation Mexican psychotherapist. My family is from the states of San Luís Potosí and Jalisco. I see nature, mindfulness, and breath work as keys to better wellness and relationships. Outside of work, I love being in nature, large bodies of water, playing piano or just hanging out with friends. I am queer, gender non-conforming, and non-monogamous. He/him, they/them

Indigo Ray represents the upper chakras, or centers of spiritual power, as understood through Hindu and Buddhist traditions. Generally speaking, the third eye & crown chakras speak to our higher selves and our grandest possibility. Though I never aim to proselityze, it is my goal to support folks in embodying their most ideal selves according to their own vision.

Meditation | Spirituality

Training in meditation and breath work is offered in session and on 1:1 basis whenever requested. We can build skills to develop meditations of up to an hour in length.

Whenever desired by the client, astrology, energy, and magic can be discussed and incorporated into the work. I honor that humans have healed themselves as evidenced throughout indigenous cultures. I work actively to decolonize my practice.

If you want to try some EFT, practice this exercise and see how it feels for you. You may try this with a trusted friend or family member first. What I often see in couple's sessions is that partners speak quickly, on many topics, and fail to connect meaningfully or at depth in any one of those topics.
This guide will help you slow things down and take each conversation step by step.
Breathe deeply throughout the exercise, focusing on an extended exhale to cue your body to maintain the state of Rest & Digest vs. Fight/Flight.
